Opticalia, a leading optical network with a presence in four countries and two continents, faced the challenge of modernizing its e-commerce platform to offer an omnichannel shopping experience that would increase conversions and improve customer satisfaction. The complexity lay in efficiently managing an operation in multiple countries and languages, in addition to integrating innovative technologies such as augmented reality to enrich the user experience.

Proceso
To address these challenges, a comprehensive analysis of Opticalia's needs was carried out, followed by a user-centered design (UX/UI) that would facilitate navigation and interaction on the platform. A customized solution was developed that allowed the centralized administration of stores in all four countries from a single backend, significantly reducing the workload and resources dedicated to maintaining e-commerce. In addition, an augmented reality feature was implemented that allows customers to try on virtually any model of glasses from their mobile devices or computers, simulating the experience of being in front of a mirror in a physical store. To strengthen the omnichannel experience, digital totems were integrated into physical stores, allowing customers to access the full catalog, receive personalized recommendations and improve loyalty without requiring additional commercial attention. Artificial intelligence was used to provide unique and personalized recommendations to customers, adapting to individual preferences and improving the shopping experience.
Resultados
The implementation of these technological solutions resulted in a more attractive and personalized shopping experience for Opticalia customers. Augmented reality not only made browsing the online store more enjoyable, but it also reduced returns by allowing customers to see what their glasses would look like before making the purchase. Centralized e-commerce management in multiple countries and languages optimized resources and reduced operating costs. The integration of digital totems in physical stores eliminated barriers between physical and virtual spaces, making it easier to make purchasing decisions and improving customer satisfaction.
